I love the fact that you can actually dig deeper and figure out what happened.
The guy from the van at the gas station- it wasn't obvious, but he was walking from Holly's car. He probably tampered with it.
Red car which the player tailgates near the station? It's the last car we saw before stumbling upon the logs which means the guy from the red car set them. Also, you can see this exact car with ITS TRUNK OPEN near the place where the coffee machine was. If not the owner knocking on the door at 3 AM, Holly would've probably been abducted (though "weird noises coming from her room... might indicate that somebody already did something to her...).
About that, I think its pretty clear that when Holly left her room to get coffee, the guy sneaked in and then he escaped when he saw the owner. So again, if not the owner of the motel Holly would've been abducted. Open trunk strongly suggests that someone was ready to abduct the drugged girl.
And the reason why the police didn't get involved? I think that the motel owner was scared that if he called the police he would make himself a target for these people.

I think surviving the zombie apocalypse with Ryan would be an experience. Every time he loots a house heāll yell excitedly as he slays zombies. Heād at least make the end of the world FUN, and heās a very genuinely funny guy which is what matters
But his resource gathering speed is kind of slow for a guy with over 100,000,000 power in arise of Kingdoms
