Yeah but considering the fact that their budget is WAAAAY lower than they used to, they still gave us a LOT. The models they hired were probably very expensive too. They OBVIOUSLY prioritized having good models and it shows. They had so many super models and they clearly did better compared to the last show they had before this one. Iām sure theyāll do better in the future.

I don't know why so many of the models weren't doing the big, beautiful, flirty, yet coquettish smiles I remember from the original shows. The palpable joy radiating off of them was half the fun! Most of these models were barely smiling at all. It felt sad š¢

Honestly the only thing I liked was tyla (I am not a fan of her I have just heard her water) and she did a better job then the whole show itself her energy, her expressions everything was a vibe she was better then most models too in terms of presence and glamour I just enjoyed her lol she was the only one giving "fantasy" pretty girl chilling on their paradise vibes

It was the ENERGY THAT WAS LAAAACKING for meā¦ Even the old VS Angels (not as in age, but all who were angels when they existed) just werenāt bringing it at all. It kinda felt like they all took a xanny or two?
Bella was le bombshell, but nothing shocking there.
I thought the way the show opened was so confusing andā¦bizarre? Why Gigi? She doesnāt do work for VS other than the 2 VS shows she did in the past, unless Iām mistakenā¦ It also looked like her wings were just heavy AF, which seemed to take away the energy she usually gives on the runway as she seemed literally unbalanced, haha. I felt bad for her. And it was justā¦.only herā¦.walking 10 feet here, 10 feet the other way, then ābye guys Iām an angel but goin down to the underworld see yuhhhhā.
There were perhaps 2-3 models (aside from Adriana, Candice, Behati and Alessandra because they canāt NOT do sexy sultry but also fun when a VS runway is involved) who gave off the same/similar vibes as the old shows, when it felt like every model cast gave the āenergyā I keep referring to (in need of a thesaurus, apparently!).
I thought all the models looked stunning, but I guess you canāt expect runway models to be able to completely strip their usual fashion show walkā¦.which tend to be depressing/flat faced so people actually look at the clothes too.
Realistically, if they had used half of the models (and kept the inclusion AND return of Behati/Candice/Alessandra/adrianaāI actually loved that they came back, because they proved that you can still be confident sexy as hell after having kids/whilst being a mom!!), and had a hype team backstageāit felt NEEDED for this oneāit could have worked. And also if they didnāt have those few pairs of wings that almost took the girls down lolol I wonder how much they weighedā¦

Whatās with this cheap venue? That stage looked sus af when it came off on doutzenās shoe. The outfits looked cheap too and the styling made it look worse. They shouldāve saved on some of the names theyāve gotten and invested in the actual show. Whatās the point in getting the biggest models and artists if the actual show and the pieces suck. Shouldāve just gotten some of the og angels and made a magical show instead of this disappointment.

Honestly VS products are trash now. They have not been good quality for the price in decades. I remember back when the lace was soft and delicate, the store was closed up so you couldn't see in when walking by and you could buy sexy AND functional lingerie. Now VS is overpriced garbage. Savage X Fenty (Rihanna's lingerie line) is way better quality. She also has real sales and the product lasts.

Read a tweet that was like they spent the majority of the budget getting in-demand models, not production, to see if the hype of the show returning would stick. I feel like that makes the most sense
