The Ultimate Dad friendly game is definitely Minecraft. You can play it with your kids, you can save and quit anytime or even afk, and it's relatively a destressing game

On one hand, this is a reasonable analysis to be making as a parent who wants to keep gaming, but has only ever seriously played multiplayer games growing up.
On the other, I feel compelled to go ‘Whaaaaat, single player games are less focus intensive than multiplayer ones? It’s easier to look away from your screen when you can pause the game? That’s such a crazy concept, who could have realized that a game with a pause button is more accessible to those who may not be able to dedicate complete focus for a long period of time?’

Dad friendly games are hard to come by. I played Space Marine 2 all day yesterday, off and on, and I have 2 toddlers. I was able to stop when my wife and kids needed me, quit when needed. As a parent, you'll have some time during the day to play but it can be 5 minutes to an hour. And you'll never know how long it is.

Just sold me Bops6. This was my concern as I've only played zombies growing up but I can't do multiplayer games anymore. Just been doing Final Fantasy so now i know i can play zombies as well

Yes, but i fucking hate how the pause timer is 15 minutes, not nearly enough for a full mrrofflwaffles terminus ee guide if you need to watch it more than once. If they just made the timer 30 minutes or more it would help a lot.
