Life continues to humble me with these powerful lessons.

People closest and farthest away from your heart will betray you, or even let you down. But the world does not end because of this.

Cry. Mourn. Be angry. Be disappointed. Then pick yourself up and move onward with your trajectory.

But do not forget the lessons that come before you, in whatever form it manifests. Don’t forget the power of trust, love and respect.

It may feel like you can never do those things again when moments like these occur, in whatever way it happens, but that’s not true. It just means that person/those people are not for you. Maybe they were never for you. And that’s ok.
