Layne still holds the throne. Layne sang with the throttle wide open and his voice was fully forward. Chris is runner up. Chris sang with the throttle slightly closed and his voice was more in his throat.

Well they all had something very sad, in common. By there own hands, they each made the wrong decisions. They were all frontmen of their perspective bands. So, so sad. Great musician's who took something away from their fans--their voices and most importantly, their lives. So, so sad!😢

Layne is my Favorite and Chris is very very close to him.but neither wanted to be labeled Grunge.Their voices touch deep when i listen to them. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
