Ginny is used to doing a kickback stand and sit on this front foot target But typically stand to down, down to stand I start her on a rear foot target. All 4 feet are still, but the emphasis is on the folding back for the down. Sit to a foldback down (front feet still) I put the rear foot target behind her to encourage that reach back.

But it's good to look at challenging your dog's positions so their work ins't tied to needing a specific target! Just make sure they can move in a way that supports the training you have already done.
