Honestly best thing is for the boost pressure to increase and to blow a turbo, show a piece of the internal turbine vane breaking and entering the motor via the intake.

Does craig not know much about nitrous? It can blow apart an intake manifold if it ignites in the manifold from the heat as you are spraying fuel and nitrous (oxygen with nitrogen to stabilize it) assuming its a wet kit. Why its important to be at 100% throttle, use cooler spark plugs, and higher octane. I'm no expert but have had a couple nitrous cars, i bet the writer talked to a nitrous guy and slightly misunderstood. It wouldn't necessarily "blow the welds on the intake" but sure could detonate in the manifold and maybe blow apart the intake manifold.

I honestly don't even know whether I would've preferred this scene to be shot as described by Craig in this clip. It's just that the inaccuracies of the first film have become a very integral component of the F&F lore. It just wouldn't be the same if we couldn't make fun of them.

The floor falling out of the car was the absolute worst. Also shifting gears like 6 times in a 1/4 mile. One of the worst car theme movies ever. ๐
