I feared that you would say that the Americans then drafted him to fight against the Germans. His clothes kept him warm in the winter because he started wearing four different uniforms at the same time. He never knew each day for whom he would be required to fight and against whom he would fight. And it's always good to be prepared. Did you know that he was forced to join the Korean Boy Scouts when he was younger?

When I was a kid we had a neighbor that started out in the Polish Army, was captured by the Soviets, ended up with the Soviet Red Army and was captured by the German Army, then was captured by the American Army. Moved to Torrance, California and lived happily ever after.
