That shiny Skwovet by itself is no more lucky than any other full odds shiny. Even if you include the Smoliv and combine the odds, much more rare things have happened in Pokémon

My favorite shiny story comes from generation 6, my first PokĂ©mon game at the time. I was just trying to catch a ditto outside of Mew-twoâs cave and just kept on failing over and over as every ditto found a way to escape. At this point I had already caught all the legendarys and hadnât used my Masterball yet. I promised myself next ditto I saw, I would throw the Masterball no matter what. Next thing I know, a blue ditto appears. Didnât know what shinies were at the time but said I would throw the Masterball no matter what. I caught it and the next day at school, I told a friend about this weird blue ditto, only to find out what shinies were right there and how rare they are. Gotta say, itâs one of my favorite moments in the entire franchise because of that.

Something similar happened to me, though I wasnât lucky enough to get the shinies back to back. I found a shiny cetoddle and accidentally killed it, but like 30 minutes later I found a shiny kirlia and coincidentally, also named it redemption
