"Love does not remember wrongs done against it." Sorry, but that is not scripture ! The word says in 1 Corinthians 13:5: " And it keeps no record of when it has been wronged"...Another translation (Cepher KJV) says "Thinks no evil."
It's one thing to not keep records of wrongdoings done against you, but to say that the person does not or should not remember the wrongdoing is simply not biblical. Sometimes one's past of hurts, betrayal, rejection, assault, etc., becomes their testimony to others who are experiencing the same thing. You can absolutely forgive someone for what they did to you, without forgetting said wrong.
The meaning of "keeping records" is constantly reminding the person of what wrong they have done to you. Which means you never forgave them. I hope this helps, I just wanted to help bring clarity to the subject. We have to be very careful with our verbiage and mindful to not misinterpret scripture.
