— Bug was being attacked by dogs and in the chaos that first clip was somehow captured for less than a second showing what he went through. I jumped in to save him and if you followed our stories, would know that I was attacked as well and needed rabies shots after making sure bug was safe and cared for at the vet first.
He was given a 10% chance to live considering his graphic injuries (we didn’t include this as it contains 🩸), his weak condition, AND deadly feline panleukopenia diagnosis- which is the cat version of parvovirus.
We were told it wasn’t worth fighting for, but we knew better than to believe he was “just a stray.” Bug deserved a chance and he deserved to be shown love + empathy.
He made a full recovery and even was ready to go home! After his attack, Bug certainly was not a big fan of dogs (to be fair I’m not sure many cats like dogs), however we knew Aura would be the PERFECT dog to help show him that he is safe now.
Quickly they have developed the sweetest relationship & Bug is officially adopted (with Aura!!!). We hope Bug’s story helps to share the message that IT IS NEVER “JUST A STRAY” 🙌

Bug defied what everyone said and beat the 10% chance of survival. He is so lucky and I’m so glad there are people like you who save these babies ❤❤
