Based on the 1-second shot of you sitting in the chair, I genuinely believe the reason why your back hurts from sitting in the chair is because you didn't lean back into it, causing your back to ache after 12 hours of sitting in it.

I actually have that gaming chair and it’s alright there’s definitely better for the same money or even cheaper but it beats by a long shot sitting on a stool or milk crate

Yeah... these cheap chairs do have a function... Let guests sit in it. I got myself an Andaseat last year and I can say it is finally "broken in". The trick is to get a chair that fits your posture. At the time I was purchasing it I needed a chair for a heavy dude, now that I have shrunk down I enjoy the chair for at least 6 hours a day, most of the time spread over a morning writing session and an afternoon gaming session. I suffer from back pain too, it is my body informing me that I am gonna be 60 this year. So I take care of my back by doing exercises and it really helps. But you never get back pain on the day of the injury (unless it is like a disc getting stuck) but the muscular system will start rebuilding and hurting days after I pulled a muscle (unknowingly)

For an honest review you should reassemble the chair correctly while incorrectly assembling the posh chair and then do the 12 hour stints again.
