As a SJW, the pronoun thing is very easy to understand difficult to digest.
It is just the minority community using language to showcase they are different from the standard that is scientifically justified and therefore are advocating for change in language. That's all there is to it.
To be honest most of it would have been avoided if people would have been more accomodating.
People have restricted what being a "man" means so much that folks who are born men but don't feel like they fit that description of a man, are asking for different pronouns.
