Since you like making these so much, and since you're kinda bored of normal What Ifs, you could always try doing a "What if Cursed Halo was canon".
Maybe the weapons and characters are always cursed, or perhaps entering Installation 04 is what causes everything to become cursed? Like grenades turning into d20s, pistols shooting the wielder, etc
