I think the first challenge I ever took part in was the 100-day challenge. The first time, I blogged every day. The second time, I digitally created Post-it note cartoons. It was hard coming up with new ideas for that one every day.
Later, @Sandra Busby and I set up Kick in the Creatives to encourage others to be creative by joining creative challenges.
I participated in a lot of those early challenges, which got me drawing and painting by hand. My drawing was terrible at first.
Since then, I’ve set myself plenty of challenges, including ones to help me discover my art style.
