The Shore Club is old and goes back to before WW2 as I remember it. Somewhere a picture exists of people eating corn at the Shore Club. They looked like Service Men and Wives that likely frequented the Shore Club. I consider the Shore Club ultimate Nova Scotia Cool! Sydney NS also had a similar club although it has been gone for some time. Mainland Nova Scotians need to visit Metro Cape Breton with the Savoy Theater, Marconi Sight, Miners Museum and so many other cool places to visit. Without mentioning names a lot of cool eateries can be found in Metro Cape Breton. My family also love Yarmouth NS.
