I was alway told you're supposed to fill with stick or is that a size related thing just curious I know basically nothing about welding the extent of my knowledge is tacking things together to get old stuck parts off my car.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU COMMENT.
I know it is running WAY to hot. The welder i was using has a synergy setting only, so in order to put down enough material to be able to fill that gap, it had to be running really hot. Is what it is. Other wise id have been puttin down a bunch of tiny cold slugs.
Also dont tell me i should be pushing instead of pulling. The camera was in my way. I had to start from the smallest part of the crack opening on the left and work my way to the right. Had the camera tripod not been in the way, i would have pushed. Its an old brush hog. Not a critical weld. So i dont wanna hear it. π
