My mom made ceramics in the 70s and 80s. I still have some of her creations, including her light bulb Christmas tree. Your channel brings back my childhood, big time. She had this mould in her studio.

When I was really young, my grandma, who was a really talented woman(she used to paint, sew, make jewelry, baked and even wood work) made for all her grandkids personalized Santa mugs, a lot like those ! I'm 46 and my mom still have them and bring them out on Christmas.

One good way to make sure the eyes don't come out creepy is to centre the pupil partly under the upper eyelid. If you look at **most eyes (not all!), you'll notice that our upper eyelids normally overlap the iris and pupil a bit.

My aunt did her own ceramics. She made one for each of her nieces and nephews. I am from a huge family. This was a big deal. I still have mine but the ball of the hat broke off. ๐.

The deeper skintone does look better. But I really like that the top of the Santa hat forms the part of the mug that you hold. What a cute design.
