My first portable tape player If memory serves me right, was an AIWA. Fully loaded with Extra Bass switch, 2-way play, internal MIC and radio recording, I loved it. My favorite tape was my own radio recording with a mix of songs and genres. I was 5 back in 88'. My family had just moved to Costa Rica, and our things took over 4 months to arrive due to problems at the border. This tape player was all I had for months.... and it was like this that I discovered what music and bands I would love to date.
