Absolutely awesome effect to banish a total of 3 cards from your opponents hand, graveyard and field. The best thing is when you de-synchro and then do it again just to knock another card out of their hand!

Centur-Ion Synchros are pretty cool because they work on any Special Summon, which combos with Centur-Ion Phalanx. Currently a few of the extender cards can place the Centur-Ion Synchro monsters as Continuous Traps, but you can only turn them back into monsters with the activation effect of Phalanx.

i don't really have a list, personally.
but playing with synchros do make me miss the older days of yugioh, when the cool special summons were fusion, then the newly released synchro, then the even more newly released xyz, and then the weird i-don't-get-it-but-i-sort-of-do pendulum summoning, then the i-really-didn't-get-it-for-years link summoning.
synchro summoning makes me feel old here.
