AGI is not a fantasy(1), SI tends to be that. But he has a healthy and scoped mindset. Effective Critical thinking perspective for current times.
(1) there is a lot of evidence of the existence of a General Intelligence in each human ... and there is not yet a quantitative threshold - for the planet - determining that a computational system can not mimic variances of some of those 'general intelligence features shown by the species ... and the actual field of research & deployment seems to be growing up without an excessive obfuscation of competition for standards for integrative implementation of models and hardware clusters ... but the possibility of obfuscation would grow and make impossible to integrate the critical mass of hardware required for integrate multimodality systems into an effective AGI paradigm ... therefore, staying the NN fragmented paradigm into just sparse business solutions ... as today it is ...
