Recent footage from the war in Israel shows units clearing structures with drones/cameras. It's much safer if you have the ability.
Lacking that ability, you might use a magnified optic /weapon light from a distance.
Clearing these kinds of structures is particularly dangerous due to the fact that these structures aren't bulletproof. Meaning that you can "pie" all you want...its more effective for the enemy to shoot you through the wall.
