Ryan Drummond laid the foundation for the ideal sonic voice, but the reason I love Jason’s take is because he takes that voice and brings it to a really unique tone that still captures Sonic’s Freedom, just in a more chill, but fun loving manner.

Most underrated Sonic VA Imo is the Japanese Sonic from Sonic X.
His voice specifically during the Dark Sonic scene was exceptional.

Ryan set the foundation for later Sonic voice actors to come. Jason took what Ryan did and improved upon it, having both an attitude that we know Sonic for, but also maturity when the situation calls for it. Roger set himself a bit apart from the other two, but eventually it paid off, giving him a fresh take on the character (especially Boom and Frontiers).
