In this Woggle Guide I’m going to explain how you can quickly delete emails in large numbers for Gmail.
Deleting emails in bulk on the Gmail iPhone app can be a real pain.
In the iPhone app, you can delete single emails or small numbers of multiple emails but there is no easy way to delete large numbers of emails.

The guide gives an overview of how to delete emails on your Gmail account using a desktop with links to a more extensive guide that explains how to delete all emails in a single folder or across your entire Gmail account.

What can you delete on iPhone?
Are you trying to delete a large number of emails on iPhone?
Emails can be deleted individually
Or in small groups
But iPhone has never had any in-built features to support mass email deletion

Which is a pain, right?
But help is at hand…..
So how do you delete large numbers of emails on Gmail?

1. Logon to your Gmail account on a desktop PC
2. Go to the folder/ label you want to delete the emails from
3. Choose the select all box at the top of the page
4. Tap the link to choose all conversations in the folder/ label
[WARNING} - Before deleting any emails makes sure you have stored all those you might want to keep elsewhere..
5. Tap the delete icon to remove the emails
6. They will be moved to the bin folder, so if you want to remove them completely, be sure to Empty the bin also
