Only two people means you can't rest even 1 second, unstable ground make you difficult to keep balance, sand and sun light take your stamina, sun light makes you can't see ball clearly, wind affects to ball. I don't have experience of it, but it is easy to imagine that it would be very tough sports.

I played indoor volleyball in high school P.E. Class. It was so badš we couldnāt even connect 2-3 balls together. The teacher wanted us to do a simple receive-set-spike and do a rally, but we would miss the first-second ball.
And that was indoor!! I think with beach youāll also have wind and sand etc to work with? I can see myself fail miserably lo

Beach is fun and easy to get into but obviously has a higher skill ceiling. I think indoor and beach volleyball have the farthest distance between skill floor and skill ceiling as volleyball players go from āMr. Interlocked fingers on receiveā to āSetter so accurate they could hit a fly in motionā

Sarah, You need to just read the Haikyuu!! manga already. We ain't gonna get a new season soon and they are probably gonna ruin it with a movie rather than having a season. Plus, I'm sure you'll enjoy the beach volleyball respect the series shows. (though Kageyama don't)
