This was right on time. I always felt like I was never that close to God but didn't want to serve just because. I wanted to develop a genuine relationship with Him and naturally desire to serve Him rather than serve Him like it's a chore or a job.
Thank you for revealing and reminding me that developing a genuine relationship with Him cannot be rushed but takes time 🙏

Please pray that my broken and strained relationships with friends, former friends, and family is still mendable. A lot of my toxic behaviors stem from trauma but I want to get better asap.

My love language to brothers and sisters is acts of service. I have a hard time spending quality time with brothers or sisters if I haven't shown them I love them by my deeds.
That's how I show love. And if I do nothing, I feel like a hypocrite for being around them because I haven't gotten the chance to serve.
I work with my hands and enjoy construction. My only problem I run into is that riches have sustituted service.
I cant serve anyone who already has a gardener, or make something someone already has or fix something that gets replaced quickly.
When I feel useless, sometimes I forget that I can ask God to give me opportunities to serve.
My joy is knowing it honor's God and meets needs.
I thank God for brothers who reach out for help because I understand its hard to ask for help but I hope cheerful service encourages them to know it's always done in love.

My best friend and I have that. How do you grow in faith if you guys share one mind? Also how is it possible for somebody to be able to hypothetically grow in a relationship if you have that but your friend does not or vice versa?

Every night or at least I try to, I go out in my dock in the lake and I talk to Jesus and I asked, how do I know I am getting closer to you or drawing near??? And this video popped up could this be a sign? Knowingly I asked this question to Jesus maybe abt 20 mins ago, and I’m a new comer to Christianity, grew up in the catholic religion just never took the time or thought to think or speak to him and get closer… but to ask, would this be an answer from him? Takes time to build a relationship?
