John Gibbons is a registered Osteopath, Lecturer and Author and is discussing how to manipulate the cervical dorsal junction (CDJ) or the cervical thoracic junction (CTJ). Some of these techniques can be taught but only to skilled therapists and manipulations plus more is taught on the Spinal course at Core Elements in swindon. The technique demonstrated is called a CT thrust.

Bodymaster Method ® Courses are now ONLINE!

I’ve been calling these courses a culmination of my life’s work, and they really are and I’ve poured all my expertise into each of them – everything I’ve learnt as an osteopath, as a writer, and as a lecturer – to ensure that the quality of learning is no less than what you’ve come to expect from The Bodymaster.

And with my hand on my heart, I have to say that I truly believe the format and content are exceptional.

Many of my clinic-based Courses are now available to take ONLINE, and I’m working hard on the others.

All courses are fully accredited through the Sports Therapy organisation (STO) and count towards your Bodymaster Method ® Diploma. Each includes a full-colour PDF copy of my published book relating to the course, which I personally take you through chapter-by-chapter with accompanying HD video lectures and demonstrations.

Thanks a lot! I am about to try, dealing with thoracolumbar syndrome Maigne. What to do if I patient that can't relax or can just 30-50% relax. How dangerous it gets for the patient then? This manipulation in particular. And in general? perhaps, silly question, sorry about that, Im really worried here

So does this open only the dorsal side of that juncture, how do we open the anterior side of that juncture? I worry this pushes the head forward over T1 into compression.

i thought we already know cavitation sound is not necessary for an adjustment?

Respectively, how do you know you are adjusting C7/T1 joint when the force is being applied much lower? I may be wrong from only seeing the video, but it seems that a hip thrust through someone’s mid back isn’t going to apply the force necessary to adjust the C7-T1 area. Again respectively, I am curious on how you can 1. Feel the C7-T1 through the shirt and thrust motion 2. Can you describe how you make sure this joint is now “adjusted” after this particular technique (joint motion testing compared before and after?)

That cavitation was around T4. Way to low for CTJ...
