when i play for the first time, i thought that you can only put one item in the shipping bin at a time and have to wait for the next day to put another item. i was on then 2nd year summer to realize i can put multiple items.

The calendar is ridiculously helpful though! I put it right next to my bed so I don’t even have to take an extra step to check it.
The workbench also saved my life in my long play game, I’m often unsure of exact crafting recipes so I’ll throw most crafting items in a few chests and surround a workbench.
So much easier.
I wish the faster planting was available on mobile too.

You can use the option of item stowing so you don't accidentally give gifts to the wrong person. I use it religiously

I knew about the tool upgrade because I've been playing harvest moon when I was younger. In fact there are a lot of niches from harvest moon that concernedape kept when developing stardew.
