A few years ago, me and my family were on a roadtrip around Norway when we accidentally drove the wrong way. “No biggie” we thought, and planned to turn around at the next roundabout or exit, but little did we know: we had just entered the tunnel connecting Lærdal and Aurland.
That tunnel is 25.51 kilometers long and the it’s the longest in the world, but we didn’t know at the time, so all of us thought we were driving in circles.

Cool thing about that tunnel is whenever me and my mom went camping I could curse and say whatever I wanted in that tunnel before we got out (I was 11 or 12). Still crazy how long it takes to get through and one hell of a memory. RIP to an amazing woman

Funny you say that, I live in CO and drive through Eisenhower regularly. First time I drive it it felt like the longest thing ever. The tunnel is better than the alternative, Loveland pass.

So...you get claustrophobic in a big tunnel but don't mind sitting in a small cab of a truck for hours on end....yeah makes sense....
