Yes. Acceptance is not equivalent to approval. I was devastatingly sad for a while, but I came to recognize that in this very moment all of that is already out of my hands, there's time to listen, support, and do the work, internally, locally, and in the larger context.
We must look out for each other. Even those, perhaps especially those, who voted in ways we do not like. We cannot do this alone and we cannot rely on the government to actually look out for the publics best interests.
Do not give up hope, the night is dark, but the arc of history is long, we may yet bend it back towards a more just and representative future.

while itās good to be optimistic and hope for the better, there is a good chance that most people donāt learn from their mistakes. Going forward, a new issue to deal with is the effect of AI that will have a lot more influence on everything and itās questionable that humans will have much control over the future.

Idea: Normalise fact checking and stop seeing it as rude online. Has to start with fun content or it won't be accepted on political ones.
Example: when people pointed out "team seas" were harming the environment, instead of trying to fix it and make it better, the truth tellers were vilified
There are examples on everything. People feel insulted when they are politely fact checked with references instead of being grateful someone did the hard work of an editor for free for them

The biggest problem wasn't disinfo.. not saying that isn't an issue but the biggest problem by far was Gaza. Don't kid yourself, and don't kid other Democrats or they'll never win (not a Democrat myself but I prefer their governance to the alternative, for harm reduction reasons (mainly on domestic policy, on foreign policy their is sadly little difference as we've seen in the failed war in Ukraine and the stupid NATO expansion policy).

Agreed. However, If the Democrats strategy does not consist of listening to their constituents, and instead relies on continuing the push for censorship of alleged misinformation then they will and should continue to fail.
