Thanks for the video!!! I didn’t know fall was not a time to transplant and have been doing it, humm. I have a few large Safeway type Phals, growing out of the pots, haven’t bloomed in at least 2 years. I’m going to try hopefully they will live, start growing.

Can you let us know what to do for our orchids in winter. Also, if I roots growing in between the slots on my orchids, should I repot or wait until spring .

Its just allways makes me laugh how plant tubers allways go like ,,its not ideal to report during the fall and winter because the tempreature is lower, and we get less light and humidity,, and they all keep their plants inside with a heater, humidifier and growlights 😂

One of my Neofinetia (Vanda) falcatas was, unfortunately, constantly too moist in the moss/bark mix I'd potted it up in during spring. One of the growths rotted. I had to do an emergency repot to remove some of the moss and increase the bark quantity instead. I reused the same bark as well as topping up with some more, so hopefully, it won't change the conditions too drastically for the plant. I agree that repotting during the colder season is not ideal. I only do it in emergencies.😢
