I've done that, but I recommend taking a tour of the ship. You have to sign up as soon as you get on board because it can sell out quickly.

Don’t expect that door to the Peek-a-boo bridge to EVER be unlocked. It was locked the entire cruise on Adventure of the seas last month. So disappointed. It’s already a very old ship, with certain areas inaccessible for the handicapped, so that being locked the duration, even while in port and calm weather was a let down. I might have been cranky because our bed in room 6604 was terribly uncomfortable and our room steward got mad at me for asking about it at guest services, told me there was nothing she could do about it, thru didn’t have any mattress pads, so she put a thin mattress cover on the bed. We were sore the whole cruise. I’m so underwhelmed that I don’t know if I will travel RCCL again. 😢
