These 10mm 304L welded rings are made so well we couldn't find where they were welded together. We always test hardware before we decide to carry it in our store. These rings broke at super duper strong enough 80+ kN, which is more than enough for a bolted climbing anchor. Making high-quality stainless steel hardware available to route developers will make climbing safer for everyone!

It's awesome that you test the stuff you sell. Very helpful for my route development pocket book! Thank you!

Solid Steel rings are basically saying "Your Body will fail before I will" and I respect that.

I’d love to see some FLIR footage of these ones that get hot.

Samezies for some Dynema tests that get really hot.

If it deforms, take it out of service - but rest assured, breaking point is a long way past "elongation" of 5%...

Are drop tower tests with rings in the pipeline? Curious how shock loads work on these

Is there a section on the site for bargain hardware? I couldn't find things like the individual chain links or rings you showed before.

Edit: nevermind. There is a front page slider for it. Was looking in the menu for it.

Stainless steel is strong, the higher the grade, the stronger it could be. Especially is heat treated.

Can you test these by cycling the load near the failure point, once they've experienced enough load to deform shape, them let them sit and cool, then retest to failure?
