Yo Giuseppe, the SU is a beautiful carb, I run them on my old shovelheads. The trick to them is you unscrew the plastic cap on the top hat and drill a 1/16th hole in the center and screw it back on. Yes, seriously.
Then you carry around a can of 3 in 1 oil. When they start acting up, you put a squirt of the oil in the hole you drilled and they will work great.
(Quit looking at me like that) It really works!
