While this can be helpful, it’s giving mixed signals, setting up for a bad experience.
Apple wouldn’t care because the credit card are the ones providing that service so the credit card takes the hit not Apple.
So going into an Apple Store with that kind of positioning will have a negative experience for both customer and representative.
Simply state “get your credit card to cover fees” and proceed to explain how you’ll still need the official quoted price, swipe the card on that set price & THEN get reimbursed by the credit card, not Apple.
Working yrs in their retail shows how’s misguided some ppl are. You can still get what you want by HOW you go about asking.
