The most crucial tip in learning how to do Antony Spin:

It's strictly a first touch skill move. Meaning that you can do it only when you touch the ball first time. Whether it's from a received pass, a deflection, or a when your opponent loses possession.

In general, you do it like this: While the ⚽ is approaching your player, have left analog stick released and start holding L1 + R1. In this video tutorial these 🎮 inputs are translated for all controllers.

At times the Antony Spin fails to register, but that means it might've been timed wrongly. Or the ball could've bounced on the way and the first touch wasn't optimal for doing the Antony's spin skill.

Of course this skill move was not invented by the Manchester United star Antony, rather just popularized by him. For example, young Cristiano Ronaldo (the greatest player ever) did this move a long time ago.
