So I played this co op with my good friend from HS. Once we got to the end of the final mission, I asked him to drive for the fact that he was playing as Master Chief and it was his first time playing the game. He immediately drove us into a hole by accident accident.

First Halo I owned was 4. Never took a deep dive into the OG games till the MCC came out and it’s one of the best video game series ever made.

Meanwhile, my memory of this was with me and a friend both gunning it at the last moment, but me turning into him in the last second causing us to crash such that we definitely didn't make it, but the cutscene triggered anyway. Was such a funny moment.
