Spanning over 300 miles from Cumberland Gap National Historical Park to the Tennessee River Gorge, it navigates the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, renowned for its forests, gorges, and waterfalls. Established in 1971 and approaching its final phases, this trail offers a journey through some of Tennessee’s most breathtaking landscapes. Cutting through 11 counties within the Justin P. Wilson State Scenic Trail State Park, it promises a memorable hiking experience.
