my take is i get it it sucks for others but alot of strike speedrunners like me just try and farm as many as we can for that damm catalyst to drop(400+ strike completions in the last 3 months and still no malfesance drop:/ )

I’d be distraught if games started banning speedrunning, I don’t do anything anything publicly it’s all for personal satisfaction and “efficiency” but I feel like that becomes the end game to when you start to min max in mmo looter genre games

Cant say how common it is for destiny speed running considering how much they health gate and freeze forward

I dont play d2 anymore but one of my faviroute moments was a time i was fighting weekly reset timer so i speedran strikes (full movement techs, wellskating etc) and me and the 2 randoms basically challenged each other they were trying to delay me and i was trying to stay 3 rooms ahead and beat the strike before they caught up the boss fight of a normal strike was my faviroute destiny encounter ever since d1 beta.
(It was birthplace of the vile im pretty sure its called) it has so many great wellskate opportunities and i had just relearned all the movement techs and skating again
Edit also just remembered one of the guys absolutely destroyed me moments before kill so i didnt flawless one of the best randoms i found
