That’s amazing, crochet mistakes look like the fabric is stretched so the holes between stitches are very visible, if you crochet without even tension it looks stretched/warped on long/straight pieces, and skipping stitches so it looks zig zagged and un-uniform

As someone who’s been crocheting for half her life I can agree that it would be kinda difficult to capture crochet mistakes in art lmao. What came to mind though was a strand snapping and unraveling stitches in the middle of the project, resulting in a bunch of loose strings and stuffing falling out until the pieces start losing tension or falling off altogether. I’ve even had really cheap velvet yarn start falling apart so all that was left was crushed velvet EVERYWHERE that clung to my skin, and the yarn that was left was essentially little strands of thread barely holding together. A bit abstract but I hope this can serve as some inspiration for any future ideas! Fantastic art as always✨
