I can't believe new people coming into Vocaloid have to be introduced to this song out of all other songs they could of been introduced to (not saying I hate the song, I absolutely love it). Gen alpha really make me disappointed for the future of Vocaloid fans. I just want to point out to you guys that DECO*27 never stated this was Pure Pure, nor stated they were 16 in the MV (music video) either. Hatsune Miku was originally made in 2007 as a 16 year old idol singer for the virtual world known as the internet. She was put as a 16 year old girl with a Highschool-like outfit due to the popularity of it in Japan at the time being really huge. They used it as a marketing strategy in order to get her up going with the fans of idols and singers, and especially to save there company too, since there previous virtual singers I don't remember the names of didn't get as popular as they thought. Miku then showed up into the spotlight as one of the most well known virtual singers ever in Japan, being featured in commercials, merchandise, advertisements, her own shows, her own songs by fans, and even concerts (which are still being held to this day with a bunch of other popular virtual singers like Len and Rin, also by Vocaloid). She was modeled to be a singer that you could pour out your own imagination to. She could have any friends, any age, any outfit, and any race in the song you put her in. The "Pure Pure" name for this Rabbit Hole Miku, originally came from a youtuber by the name of channelcaststation, where she made a short 17+ animation for the song. This animation later got demonetized and age restricted, which caused her to post the more safe for work animation which was called "Pure Pure" which if you watched the original MV from DECO*27, you would know that this title was completely false. The 17+ animation was then finally put back onto youtube with no complication, with the sfw video still being up and having a link in the comment sectionwith the 17+ video, with the name for it being "Pure Pure (not)" indicating to the audience even more that the video was definitely not pure. The description that the creator put stated that the character in the video "is a separate character that does not follow Miku's age setting." This line made many newcomers think that this character in the animation wasn't Miku but was either "Pure Pure" like the title said, or was DECO*27's OC/character. These two statements are both completely false. If you re-read what Channel wrote, you will be able to slowly understand that they meant to say that this Miku was separate from the Hatsune Miku you guys are used to who is 16 years of age, and was actually a Hatsune Miku who is 18 years of age or as an adult.
