Tony Atlas tells this story, he was there and rode to hospital with Brody where he died. It was a dispute over promotion money. Suspect was acquitted because they were alone in a back room and he claimed self defenses

Hogan is so full of it. Brody was not stabbed in the throat. He was difficult to work with at times, but not as a rule. He was consistently tough for promoters to work with. Watch some of his matches with Lawler in Mid-south. Great work. Abdullah the Butcher and Brody had a lot of great matches.
