A 7 mile wide ef7(bigger than an ef5) engulfed our 10 mile farm homestead and took horses, 10 mil in farm equipment and our house. I was sucked out of our tornado shelter when the doors broke and was thrown almost 500 yards north. Took 1 1/2 days for someone to find me alive and barely breathing. Turns out I had 2 broken legs, 2 broken arms, broken ribs and both my lungs were collapsed. 1 was working just enough for me to survive. Still have 9 inch scars all over my body and was given abt a 5% chance to live. Insurance covered half and go fund me covered the other half. True definition of “ you can beat the odds even if you don’t try”
