โNot sustainableโ is too kind by half, but I get why sheโs trying to be tactful. We really need to eliminate or make irrelevant the Electoral College. It is literally putting our freedoms, our economy, and our national security on the line by leaving the election to the highest executive office in the country in the hands of swing voters in battleground states. If itโs a straight popular vote, TFG loses by 7 or 8 million votes.

She used to be such an extremist but she has proven that she has the intellect and humility to allow her viewpoints to evolve when presented with factual data. That is far more than most MAGAts have proven they can do.
She has shown herself to have tremendous backbone in standing up to the party she was weaned on and the honor to do what was right, even though she took a gigantic hit, politically. She has proven that her values can not be shaped by political expediency.
She has also proven her emotional maturity in accepting that compromise is a necessity in a country of over 300 million individuals. She sees that the country does not JUST belong to the right....NOR does it JUST belong to the left. We all pay taxes...it is ALL of our country, and we need to make it work for ALL of us. Politics USED TO mean "the art of compromise." There can be no other way to successfully govern.
She and Adam K. have my lifelong respect and finding out that she now understands that the subject of abortion/reproductive rights is a multi-layered, complex issue and not "about killing babies" makes me respect her even more.
She and I would probably never see eye to eye on much, but she has my admiration. I will never forget how she stood like a rock against all of trump's b.s. after January 6. I don't give a.f. how much she went with the flow BEFORE that. She has proven herself more than enough to this voter.
