OMG BRUH.. I literally just stumbled upon him and fought him earlier and didn’t know what to do after talking to him then this pops up. Talk about good timing ! ✊🏾

you didnt mention that the ironed horn armour helmet cant be crafted unless you defeat the very late chapter 4 secret boss for a specific material.

Also its better to get the bracers and the boots that he unlocks while in chapter 3 as they both only cost the 2 golden strands you have when you first get here. And pair it with the armor set that gives you a focus boost for perfect dodges with 2 other peices fully upgrade the rock solid skill and now you have a badass focus build that builds focus like crazy fast. Plus add the spirit who gives even more focus for dodges and cooldown spell curio its worked amazing for me and you can tweak the other curios and your soaks however you want with it and itll still build crazy focus.

Yin Tiger's armor was very frustrating to me. I was able to beat him before I completed Ch.3 and I really couldn't craft most if until the end of Ch4 or so. Even then I still used some of the materials for far better armor. They should've given me the armor already crafted for beating him rather than just the recipe.

Yin Tiger is insane, Immobilize doesn’t work on him and his teleporting is kinda unfair considering how strong he is

I beat Yin whatever in like seven tries I think these are just my type of game, I bought but never played through Souls III but since playing this I'm super excited to go back and play it when I beat this

Yin Tiger is hardest boss in the game so far. Took 2 days to beat him. If I could physically teabag him I would.

Considering that the Yin Tiger is one of the strongest bosses, especially when faced with the stats/build that an average player should have around mid chapter 3, and that you can only unlock the crafting material to make the helmet to actually benefit from the set bonus basically at the end of chapter 4, and that both these chapters are by far the longest ones given that 6 is just a sparse boss rush and 5 is probably even a bit smaller than 1, I'd say it would be more appropriate to call this a Mid to late game armour rather than an early unlock imho.
