If only there was a union that subsidised farmers, paid them if they set aside their land and purchased any surplus of their stores whilst providing them access to cheap labour. No chance farmers would vote against that.

While we're at it, delivery drivers who deliver food, packing plant workers who package the food, shop workers who sell the food, IT workers who service the computer systems that monitor stock levels of food, the list goes on and on.

Farmer say well feed the nation (Well 50% of our food anyways, comes form outside of the UK)................but they cannot get the food to the supermarkets without roads. So, should road builders be exempt as well? How about exempting the supermarkets for selling it?

Not everyone pays inheritance tax… literally every business can get passed down without a penny going to the government. In law school, my lecturer told us that inheritance tax is just a tax on the middle class, and the UK’s richest barely pay in. In fact, only £5 billion pounds a year is generated from the tax, which is nothing compared to other methods of collection. Labour can go after farmers, but they should treat every business the same, and maybe consider getting some money off the Sunday rich list and not the local GP.
