You know even when you think youre over it you never truly are. Its been 5 yrs now and i still miss him. Ill stare at his photo and wish he was still with me; he was my best friend.

I lost my sister 2 years ago. In my dreams I see her again. We’d talk about nothing specific usually, maybe a faded whisper of “I’m so glad you’re okay”. I wake up, and for almost a minute, my mind races: “I need to call her, tell her I love her, how in my dream she was almost hurt.” It hits me like a train, what I thought was a near miss nightmare was a fantasy. “That’s right… you aren’t here anymore” I don’t know sometimes what keeps me going, maybe that she wouldn’t want me to be sad, maybe I’m spiteful of whatever personification of the world or fate or god would take her and leave me to suffer. Maybe it’s that despite all that, she loved life, and it would be make her cry to see me give up on it.
