The most disappointing thing about this game is that after you finish it, you have no more friend's left, no girl, barely any connections, and the entire situation leaves you feeling as though yeah, while you've made it out alive after all of that mess. But you lost so much. Driving around feels aimless post storyline. No guidance or sense of direction. You feel alone. Very alone. It has to be one of the saddest feelings in the game. The bonds you made are no more. And so you're left with this lonesome feeling, in such a big, wide, vast, beautiful neon city landscape. Wondering what else is there to do, now that you have no more purpose... 😔
If only some more people had survived so the two of you can keep the legacies going. Or just to hang out.
This is a common theme with open world games like these. I got the same feeling from many other's. The Warrior's for the PS2, obviously the GTA classics, etc.
Sleeping Dog's was a Heavy one. Seeing as you've gone through so much.

I played it yesterday. It made me remember the times where I would wake up as a kid and play it.
To me, the jankiness makes the game better. Small glitches here or there makes the game so much more fun. Not game breaking glitches but actually fun or funny glitches. When I replayed it I encountered some and it made me laugh like…. ACTUALLY laugh.
I’ve never before laughed at a game even if it tried to be funny or unintentionally but after years of playing games I’m so glad I get to say sleeping dogs made me feel a certain way other games didn’t. It holds a very special place in my heart.
So many games nowadays have 100+ gig requirements and sometimes some of these games don’t feel like they should take up 100+ gigs. Sleeping dogs did so much with so little.
If a remake was ever made and it was 100+ with those gigs being dedicated to actual content I would 1000000% buy it.

I wished for a sequel but the people shut down so chances are very low. My favorite part about the game is that nearly every or every other mission I got to do something new. That being new environmental attack, new gun, new meelee weapon, or new attack combo! The story got me to feel like I know and have bonds with the characters. Even Winston...RIP😭😭😭 Overall the game is my style so I might be a little biased here but 10/

This game deserves so much more respect and attention than it gets. The combat is great, story is a masterpiece, the traversal is fluid and fun, for an older game it holds up pretty great graphically, and the city feels alive which is huge. So many games with open worlds the city doesnt feel alive just feels like a hub between missions the mafia games fall prey to this but sleeping dogs feels so alive and fun. The story is honestly one of the most amazing ive experienced and is solidified in my top 10 games of all times. Im going to replay it now.

I love GTA series. But that Wedding chapter in SD still haunts me up to this day. Not even RDR2, dont get me wrong, RDR2 definitely is in a league of its own.
Im just talking about some unexplainable aspects of SD that seems so special.
