At UCLA they let students take the lab rats out of the lab to release into the crowd of ceasefire protesters before pepperspraying and assaulting the entire crowd of students, they were likely peppersprayed and stomped on alongside the students. Who knows if they were infected with anything before they were released. Watching the videos of that night reminded me of this case.
