Dear Tara. I have found all of your posts to be extremely informative, inspiring, educational and, in an odd way at times, enjoyable. I am not in the same boat as you but the way that you deal with the hand dealt you and the way you overcome life is truly moving. It makes me feel like a heel for griping about my own miniscule "disabilities" and makes me feel like giving myself a good talking to. I'm a good deal older than you and have probably just given up but that's no real excuse.
I wish you all the best for the rest of your life and I look forward to seeing you smash the hell out of lifes hurdles. I hope that this makes good sense to you as i know how clumsy I can be with words at times. 💕🤗

I can’t believe that you can surf. I would wanna do that, but I’m scared of drowning and also because I have cerebral palsy. I don’t think I can surf

I like the idea of the beach wheelchair, but it wasn't good for my grandpa backwhen he was alive. We would instead put 2 pieces of thin plywood in the truck under his "scooter". On the sand I would switch them out on the sand so he could drive down close enough to the surf to be able to fish

Wow a beach wheelchair! Beaches here have been making accessible pathways for wheels but people have been using it for dance parties and a free picnic mat 🤦🏽

Frrrk yeah, rode that wave heaps good for a while. If you caught the wave and felt the ride, to me is like connecting with God, in a collaboration for a-bit of joy, peace of mind as well as a moment of happiness, to reminisce in awe of whenever thought back to the experiences shared between God, the ocean, and yourself..

So fun and amazing! I appreciate you accepting the assistance. This is how you become more independent if you so choose but also so many of us miss out cause we don’t want to accept the “help” or ask for it.
